Biography
"Antonio is a post-doctoral researcher at CIBIO-InBIO, Predictive Ecology group (Precol), since June 2013. He is interested in the applying of remote sensing technology and ecological models to quantify biophysical properties of ecosystems and their response to disturbance (wildfire, land use/cover) and climate change. Mountains are the target environment. He has a PhD in Science and Agrotechnology from University of Milan (Italy), doctoral school “Earth, Environment and Biodiversityâ€. During his PhD studies, he was visiting PhD student at UC Berkeley-Dept. of Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management (USA) and Univ. of Basel- Institute of Botany (Switzerland). Later, he developed a training period as visiting researcher at University Technology of Sydney- Plant Functional Biology and Climate Change Cluster (Australia)."
