Biography
"I obtained my PhD in biology in 2016 at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland and at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. During my PhD studies I have been working in a project aiming at assessing the impact of metal pollution on genetic variation in natural populations of soil invertebrates. I also conducted research on cryptic speciation in earthworms and centipedes. As a post-doctoral researcher at CIBIO-InBIO I work in a project about the genetics of coat colour change in boreal species, including hares and weasels. I use NGS data to look for genes involved in seasonal moulting."
