 Associate Professor of Obstetrics of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra  Regent of the Maternal Health Stage of the 6th year of the Master's Degree in Medicine (since 2001-2001)  Member of the Scientific Council of FMUC (since 2012).  FMUC Deputy Director for Education and Training (since 2015).  Head of Obstetrics Service of the Hospital and University Center of Coimbra (since 2005)  Director of the Obstetrics Service A of CHUC (since 2006).  Specialist in Gynecology / Obstetrics (1992)  Sub-specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the Order of Physicians (2004).  Directorate of the College of Gynecology / Obstetrics of the Order of Physicians (2000 - 2009). Board of Coordination of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Section, College of Gynecology / Obstetrics of the Order of Physicians (1997-2009).  Member of the Medical Ethics and Ethics Committee of the Medical Association (since 2014).  Directorate of the Portuguese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (SPOG) (1990-1994, 1998-1999).  Directorate of the Portuguese Society of Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (since 2007).  Directorate of the Center for Perinatal Studies (1993-1997).  Member of the Medical-Legal Council of the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences, as an obstetrical expert (since 2003).  National Commission on Maternal and Neonatal Health of the Ministry of Health (2003-2006). National Commission on Maternal Health of Children and Adolescents of the Ministry of Health (2009 - 2014).
