Biography

Vitor has experience in Mechanical Engineering and attended a Materials Engineering Master Course from the University of Aveiro. Since 2013, Vitor has searching for a new method for production of graphene, receiving the “Business Idea Award 2014” from Dow Chemicals and 2nd on “EDP Innovation Award 2014” for his entrepreneurial spirit and technology innovation. Self motivated professional, capable of working independently or as part of a team. Expert at analyzing and solving the most complex of problems. The solutions implemented by Vitor have saved over 350,000€ in industrial costs to date. Graphenest is a start-up with a groundbreaking technology to mass producing high-quality graphene that holds an investment from Portugal Ventures. It is a dynamic young company founded in Sever do Vouga (Portugal), composed by multidisciplinary graduates of University of Aveiro. Its vision is to distribute low-cost graphene worldwide in order to democratize graphene-related materials and, in last instance, nanomaterials. Masters in Materials Engineering from University de Aveiro. Masters in Mechanical engineering and product design from Universidade de Aveiro.
