Anna Veiga Lluch

Biography

Anna Veiga Lluch is the Director of Grifols. She received her degree in Biology and Ph.D in Biology (Cum Laude) from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. She has been the IVF laboratory Director at the Reproductive Medicine Service at Institut Universitari Dexeus from 1982 to 2005. She is the Director of the Stem Cell Bank at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona, Scientific Director at the Reproductive Medicine Service of the Institut Universitari Dexeus, and an Associate Professor at the Department of Experimental and Health Sciences of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fundación Dexeus de la Salud de la Mujer and an Honorific Member of the Institut Medicofarmacèutic de Catalunya. In May 2015 she received the degree as Doctor Honoris Causa from the Universitat Central de Catalunya. She specializes in clinical embryology, reproductive genetics, embryonic and pluripotent stem cells research and bioethics.
