Biography
Maria Raimundo is a current PhD student at MIT Portugal in Bioengineering. Her study focuses on better understanding value propositions and market positioning of genetic testing companies. She holds a Master’s degree in Bioentrepreneurship from Karolinska Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. She worked at the United Nations helping in the implementation of mobile health technologies in developing countries, at the University of Basel doing sports technology research and at a Swiss AI start-up in delivering innovative product ideas to Fortune top 500 companies.
