James P. Breslawski

Biography

  Mr. Breslawski has been with Henry Schein, Inc. since 1980. He has served in his current position as President of Henry Schein, Inc. since 2005 and as a director since 1992. He is a member of the Executive Management Committee and also holds the role of Chief Executive Officer of Henry Schein's Global Dental Group. Mr. Breslawski held the position of Executive Vice President and President of U.S. Dental from 1990 to 2005, with primary responsibility for the North American Dental Group. Between 1980 and 1990, Mr. Breslawski held various positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Administration, and Corporate Controller. Mr. Breslawski is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently a Member of the Leadership Council the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He previously served as a Member of the Board of Governors for St. John's University, a Trustee of the Long Island University Board, and a Board Member of the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Mr. Breslawski also has served as Chairman of the Board of the American Dental Trade Association and President of the Dental Dealers of America, both of which became part of the Dental Trade Alliance, where he also served as Chairman. In addition he served as Chairman of the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation. Prior to joining Henry Schein, Mr. Breslawski was a certified public accountant at the national professional services firm BDO Seidman, LLP. He received his degree in accounting from St. John's University.
