Biography

Hugo Ortiz is since the end of 2015, Infosistema’s Manager, being responsible for an IT Consulting Team.Graduated and Master in Computer Engineering by the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, Hugo published scientific papers in the IEEE, in the area of distributed systems.In 2007 and 2008 he held research functions at the Faculty of Sciences in the area of Intrusion Tolerant Systems, and teaching in the course of Master in Computer Engineering.Between 2009 and 2014 he worked in the team of Research and Development of Altitude Software where he was responsible for the maintenance and development of new features for the product Altitude uCI.Between 2013 and 2015 he created with 2 colleagues the ProKubo Company, a remote work platform for freelancers and companies, being Hugo’s responsibility the strategic business definition, project management and full implementation of the backend. At the end of 2015, Hugo Ortiz became Manager at Infosistema, where is responsible for an IT consulting team in the financial sector of banking, in addition to his duties, Hugo is project manager in applications such as Telephone Banking, SelfBanking, among others.
