Biography

Founding Partner of NIMGenetics. Undergraduate (BSc) degree in Biology from Michigan State University (USA), Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology from University of London (UK), and PhD in Molecular Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Dr. Samper was a predoctoral researcher at the Amgen Institute (Toronto, Canada), and the British Columbia Cancer Center (Vancouver, Canada). Dr. Samper carried out postdoctoral research at the Buck Institute for Aging Research in California.  Ramón y Cajal researcher (placed 4th in the award year in Spain) and Junior Group Leader at the National Cardiovascular Research Center (CNIC), Spain. He received training in entrepreneurship within the “EXECUTIVE GROWTH PROGRAM” of ESADE and IESE business schools, taking part in the technology mission to Silicon Valley. He won the Instituto de Empresa (IE) Venture Day 2012 prize for the best off-line business project, and was nominated Distinguished Entrepreneur at the “Spain Startup and Investors Summit and Financing Day” organized by Madrid Network and Grant Thornton.
