Biography

Celso Guedes de Carvalho is the is Chairman of the Board of Portugal Ventures. He received his degree in Marketing Management and In his professional career, which spans more than 25 years, he has led countless projects in various sectors, with noteworthy results achieved in supporting the creation of dozens of companies whilst a consultant, trainer, mentor and coordinator of various initiatives. He has been at the helm of a business incubator, the stimulation of entrepreneurship ecosystems, a communications agency, the fundraising strategy of a Foundation, and the communications department of an institute of higher education. Celso follows participatory, decentralised and meritocratic leadership models to leverage the talent and skills of the teams he manages.
