Biography
Holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from EPF in Lausanne, Switzerland and a Post-graduation in Business Studies from Porto Business School. Between 1998 and 2000, he was CEO of Optimus – Telecomunicações SA and, between 2000 and 2007, he was Chairman of the Executive Committee of Sonaecom SGPS, SA. In 2007, he was appointed Chairman of the Executive Committee of Sonae SGPS, SA. He holds various managerial and directorship roles in the Efanor Group and Sonae Group.
