Claudia Cavadas

Biography

 Cláudia Cavadas holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra (2002). During her PhD. Since 2002, she is assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra and Group Leader of “Neuroendocrinology and Aging group” at Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra. Cláudia Cavadas has 64 publications and was the principal investigator of several funded projects. She is the President of the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology (since 2016); Cláudia Cavadas was the former Director of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Coimbra (2010-2012), and Vice-director of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra (2011-2013). As a PhD student, Claudia Cavadas spent 3 years at the Division of Hypertension CHUV, Lausanne, Switzerland
