Biography
Luis Menezes joined Unilabs in 2006 and was appointed General Manager Portugal in January 2008. Within Unilabs, Mr. Menezes was M&A and Business Development Director for Portugal, where he was instrumental in building the current framework of Unilabs Portugal, with more than 12 successful acquisitions between 2006 and 2013. Before that, he was an advisor to the board of directors of Fundação Ilidio Pinho, a Portuguese private endowment foundation, where he was responsible for investments in the areas of private equity, hedge funds, derivatives and equity trading. Luis Menezes holds a degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Portugal. Since 2009, he is also a member of the Portuguese Parliament. Mr. Menezes was born in 1980 and is a Portuguese citizen.
