Biography
Ana Sofia Fernandes (1980) graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon (FFUL) in 2004, with a final average of 16 values. In 2010, he completed his PhD in Pharmacy, in the specialty of Toxicology, by the University of Lisbon. She has been a lecturer at ULHT since 2008, teaching several subjects in Toxicology and Pharmacology. She is currently a researcher at CBIOS-ULHT and a collaborator at iMed.UL / FFUL. She is involved in several research projects in the areas of toxicology and the development of potential new drugs, and her main current scientific interest is the study of the influence of redox modulators on cancer progression and antitumor therapy.
