Biography
António Joaquim Viana De Almeida Tomé holds his PhD in International Relations, Aerospace Power, at ULHT, Lisbon, where he has been a University Professor since 1991. Two Master's degrees at UTL-ISCSP: Strategy (1993) and International Relations 1997). Degree in Military and Aeronautical Sciences at the Military Academy. Colonel Pilot Aviator of the Portuguese Air Force FAP, with Superior Course for promotion to General Officer. (Ref .: 1991). Awarded: First Class War Cross Medal, for actions in Campaign and missions of rescue and rescue of populations on land; and for humanitarian actions of SAR Search and Rescue, in oceanic waters in the Overseas, Mozambique. Same, SAR missions in the Azores. Awarded for Distinguished, Extraordinary and Relevant Services rendered to the Country (Portugal). Airline Commander (FAP) medium and long haul. Professor of Geopolitics, Geostrategy and International Relations - GGRI at the Naval School. (ULHT-EMA Protocol). Professor at ULHT of GGRI I-II, EDSE, HMCRI, CP & RI
