Biography
João Carlos Gil da Silva Ribeiro Graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 1991, by FMV of UTL. Since then he has been involved in the clinical activity of companion animals, with special interest in Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, which he holds in the Veterinary Reference of which he is clinical director, and where he operates the first unit of Veterinary Magnetic Resonance in Portugal. Member of the European Society of Veterinary Neurology (ESVN), and Resident of the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN), fulfilling an exhaustive and monitored program to obtain the European Diplomate degree. He teaches at FMV-ULHT as a guest lecturer and responsible for the discipline Applied Clinical Neurology, also collaborating in other disciplines, and with all FMVs accepting curricular trainees.
