Biography
João Manuel Marques Carrilho completed his degree in Sonology at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (Netherlands), and in 2015, his doctorate in Science and Technology of the Arts, specialization in Music Computer Science, at the Catholic University of Portugal, with a thesis "Aesthetics of Music Computing: ". He created, with Jorge Lima Barreto, the duo "Zul Zelub" in 2007, conceptual proposal experimentalist for piano and electronic music of art. "Zul Zelub" edited the CD "Ultimaton" and performed concerts at Casa da Música and Culturgest, among others. Collaborates with the plastic artist Joana Vasconcelos, participating in 2013 at the 55th Venice Biennale where she performed two concerts.
