Biography
Graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Lisbon in 1981, joining the academic career in 1983. In this University he developed multiple research and teaching activities in Pharmacy, Medicine and more recently in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics, always in the area of ​​Human Physiology. He obtained his Master Degree in 1988 (Very Good with Distinction) and his PhD in 1992 (Distinction and Praise) at the University of Lisbon in Human Physiology.
