Biography
MARIA ALEXANDRA D ABREU PINTO SANFINS Graduated in Zootechnical Engineering by UTAD in 1988. She completed the Master's Degree in Developmental Biology by ULHT in 2000, having completed all the dissertation work in the Cloning laboratory directed by Prof. James Robl at the University of Massachusetts, USA. In 2005 he completed a PhD in Biomedical Sciences in a joint program between the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and the Tufts University Schools of Medicine, Boston, USA, where he carried out all the research work in the field of Biology and Reproductive Technologies under orientation of Prof. David Albertini. Began in 2005 a Post-Doctorate at the Institute of Molecular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. Since 2005 he has been a faculty member of the Integrated Masters in Veterinary Medicine of Fac. of MARIA ALEXANDRA D ABREU PINTO SANFINSof ULHT being responsible for the disciplines of Cell Biology, Genetics and Breeding.
