Biography

MARIA DA SOLEDADE COSTA CRAVO DA SILVA SANTOS (n.1958) 1975 LNO (17 val.); 1981 Degree in Chemistry FCUL (17 val.). 1995 PhD in Chemistry UL (Very Good with Distinction and Praise); Advanced Courses: 1998 Surfactants and Polymers in Aqueous Solution; 2002 Advanced Course on Formulation of Colloidal Systems. 1982 Trainee Assistant FCUL; 1986 Assistant FCUL; 1995 Assistant Professor FCUL. He taught more than 20 undergraduate and master courses in the areas of Chemistry and Technological Chemistry. He develops research in the scope of the Net Interfaces in the Center of Chemistry and Biochemistry and participated in several projects of fundamental and applied research. He has directed more than 40 internships and projects for completing a bachelor's degree and 5 Masters. She is the author of more than 50 oral or panel communications at national and international conferences, 30 international publications and two patents. She participates regularly in Teacher training actions of secondary education (2008-), Junior Chemistry Olympics (2007-), Lectures and Experimental Sessions for Basic and Secondary Education (2008-) and 2 publications of scientific dissemination. He was a member of the Self-Evaluation Committee of the Degree in Teaching of Physics and Chemistry-Variant of Chemistry of DQB (2001/02); of the Executive Board of the DQB (2003/04); of the Coordination of the Degree and Master in Technological Chemistry (2010/11), of the Image Commission of the DQB (2005/06, 2007/08, 2009/10); of the Steering Committee of the Center for Chemistry and Biochemistry (2012/14).
