Bruno Sommer Ferreira

Biography

 Head of Business Development, Ferreira’s scientific career gives him an extremely broad view of bioprocesses. He worked in areas as diverse as microalgae culturing, the monitoring and optimization of the microbial production of recombinant proteins and the development of culture systems for stem cells. Bruno is a co-author of over 30 publications, a member of several scientific societies, and worked as Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona and as consultant for private companies. He is an advisor to national and international entities and projects on Industrial Biotechnology, contributing also in diverse discussion panels of the European Commission and the OECD.
