Biography
Mark G. Bloom, CLP, RTTP, is Director - Technology Transfer and Research Integrity Officer at Sidra Medicine (Doha, Qatar). Mark is also the Administrator of Sidra’s Intellectual Property Panel, serves as a member of the Sidra Innovation Council, and is Chair of the Sidra Directors’ Forum. Mark was formerly Associate General Counsel and Chief IP Counsel, CCF Innovations, for the Cleveland Clinic. Mark received a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH, USA) and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (Concord, NH, USA). Mark is a member of the Bars of New York, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. He is licensed to practice before the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mark is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Before attending law school, Mark worked in sales and marketing for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and medical diagnostic software industries. Mark brings more than thirty years of corporate sales, marketing, and intellectual property law, management, and licensing experience to Sidra.
