Biography
Dr. Tareq is a Qatari national born and raised in Qatar. He acquired a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University College of London and a Master's in Philosophy in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge. He completed his PhD at Imperial College London. His previous industry experience involves working as a mechanical and piping engineer for Qatar Petroleum on both the Common Cooling Water Project and the Barzan gas project. Tareq also served as a technical advisor at the Qatar National Food Security Program.
