Biography
Mr. Ali Al-Muraikhi has been the Managing Director & General Manager of Qatar Steel Company since May 2011 after being a Director & Acting General Manager from November 2010. He was appointed as Vice-Chairman of Foulath Holding Company, Bahrain in February 2014 and is also an active Board Member in Bahrain Steel, one of its subsidiary. Mr. Al-Muraikhi is a Board Member of SOLB Steel in KSA and in Algerian Qatari Solb Company as well. Mr. Al-Muraikhi has been associated with Qatar Steel since 1981 after starting his career as a Trainee and grew up rapidly to hold various managerial positions responsible for Personnel, Sales and Marketing. Prior to his current position, he was serving as the Commercial Division Manager since January 2003. His contribution to the growth of Qatar Steel over the years serving Qatar has catapulted him to the current position to spearhead the company as the Managing Director & General Manager.
