Biography
Mr. Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa is one of the leading patrons of the Islamic finance industry. He serves as the Minister of Housing of the Government of Bahrain. Previous to this post, Mr. Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa was the Deputy Minister of Finance and National Economy of the Government of Bahrain. He served as a Managing Director and Chairman of Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill Co. B. S. C. (c). Mr. Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa serves as the Chairman of the Board of The Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions. He served as the Deputy Governor of the Bahrain Monetary Agency. Mr. Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa serves as Chairman of the Bahrain Development Bank, Gulf International Bank, and Meezan Bank. He serves as the Chairman of Bahrain Development Bank and Bahrain Institute of Technology. Mr. Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa served as the Chairman of Gulf International Bank BSC since 2001 and also served as its Director. He serves as a Member of the Board of Faysal Islamic Bank of Egypt. Mr. Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa served as the Chairman of Fajr Capital Limited until May 19, 2012 where he was also a Founding Chairman. He served as a Director of Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (c). Mr. Bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa holds LLB from Beirut Arab University.
