Abdulaziz Jassim Mohd Al-muftah

Biography

 Graduated with a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from University of Miami, Miami, Florida in 1986. Joined Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (Offshore Operations) in 1986 and undergone training with M/s. Bechtel under the North Field Development Project. Appointed as Electrical Engineer in 1991, as Senior Electrical Engineer in 1993 and as Lead Electrical Engineer in 1994 with Central Engineering Department. Promoted to the position of Head of Specialist Engineering/Deputy Project Manager in the Dukhan Consolidated Facilities Upgrade Project (DCFUP) in 1996. Transferred to the position of Assistant Engineering Manager (Dukhan Projects) in Engineering Department (Onshore) in 2000. Promoted to the position of Engineering Manager (Offshore) in 2004 and transferred to the position of Engineering Manager (Major Projects) in 2006. Appointed as Director Ras Laffan in 2010 and as Director of Industrial Cities Directorate in 2012. Appointed as Vice President, Industrial Cities covering Ras Laffan and Mesaieed Industrial Cites as well as Dukhan Concession Area in 2015.
