Biography
Eng. Nabeel Mohammed Al-Buenain graduated in 1994 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University, in Beaumont, Texas, USA. He first joined Qatar Petroleum in 1990, and from 2000 to 2002, he served as the Plant & Senior Project Engineer, before subsequently being appointed as the Head of Technical Services up to 2004. Eng. Al-Buenain has extensive experience in major Infrastructure development and oil & gas operations. His achievements and expertise were recognized by management with his appointment in 2005 as the Assistant Project Manager for the Common Cooling Water Project in Ras Laffan Industrial City. In 2010, Eng. Al-Buenain was subsequently appointed as the Ras Laffan Port Expansion Project Manager, after which he was named as Executive Director (Hamad Port Projects) in 2011. In December 2014, he was appointed as QP’s Vice President for HSE & Business Services, thus enabling him to contribute significantly to the corporation’s continued growth and development.
