Dr. Mohammed Al Mulla

Biography

      Dr. Mohammed Al MullaQ.S.C. and of Qatofin Limited Company. QAPCO is the pioneer in petrochemical production in the Middle East.       Dr. Al Mulla joined QAPCO in 1988 and held strategic positions in the company. In 2007, he was appointed Vice Chairman and CEO. Under his leadership, the company achieved milestones in the fields of production, Qatarization process, sustainable development & research. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Industries Qatar (IQ), one of the largest publicly traded companies on the Qatar Exchange and he also sits on the Board of Qatofin and QAPCO. For his efforts to enhance Industry-­‐Academia collaboration and to strengthen R&D partnerships, along with his dedication to further encourage and develop education amongst the youth, Dr. Al Mulla has been appointed to the Board of the College of the North Atlantic – Qatar and he sits on the Advisory Board of the College of Engineering at Qatar University. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States with a BSc in electrical engineering in 1988. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 1997 and a Doctorate in Engineering in 2007, both from Leicester University in the United Kingdom.
