Dimitris Moulavasilis

Biography

  Dimitris Moulavasilis has been the CEO of Affidea since September2012. He has 24 years’ healthcare industry experience, starting in the med tech and medical imaging sectors and branching out to healthcare services. He joined Affidea (formerly Euromedic) in 2005 as the first Country Manager for Greece, where he established one of the country’s biggest imaging chains. In 2010, he moved to the position of Group Vice President Diagnostics and led the development of the group’s care delivery model. Educated as a Biomedical Engineer Dimitris also holds a MBA. He believes that the future of healthcare is in care standardization, digital integration and big data management and his vision is to offer to patients and healthcare systems cost efficient, standardized quality services and a unique care experience. Currently he lives in Budapest with his wife and two daughters.
