Biography
Andreas Steiner is an economist but has in-depth knowledge of the industry thanks to his long career in the healthcare sector, enabling him to bring both specific expertise and strategic vision. He was in charge of the Finance and Administration division at Wellcome Austria Pharma from 1989 to 1995, and was ultimately responsible for the set up and expansion of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Austria and Eastern Europe as Director of Finance & Administration (Chief Financial Officer) from 1995 to 2006. The key focus of his activities was on setting up and organizing subsidiaries and representative offices, together with the associated challenges regarding financial management, supply chain and IT.
