Biography
Karen graduated from the University of Cambridge, then studied for a PhD in synthetic chemistry at the University of Bristol. After a period working for the EPSRC, she moved to Evotec (UK) Ltd, where she spent fourteen years as a medicinal chemist working on drug discovery contracts for a number of pharmaceutical and biotech companies. She returned to the University of Bristol in 2015, to take up her current position as Teaching Laboratory Fellow.
Research Interest
Karen has responsibility for the second year laboratory teaching in the School of Chemistry.
