Biography
Since 2013 he is Emeritus Professor in Molecular Virology at the University of Groningen.Dr. Jan C. Wilschut studied Biochemistry and Immunology at the University of Utrecht and obtained is PhD. in Chemistry from the University of Groningen.Dr. Wilschut was coordinator for the Dutch Influenza Vaccine Research Center, founded two biotech companies with colleagues and has been advisor to the Dutch Healthcare Council with respect to influenza vaccination.
