Biography
Silviu Matu received a M.A. in “Clinical psychology, counseling and psychotherapy” from BabeÅŸ-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, followed bz a Ph.D. program in the Doctoral School “Evidence-based assessment and psychological interventions”. His research interests are grounded in the field of cognitive clinical sciences, and his focus is on the efficiency of different emotional regulations strategies and the cognitive processes that sustain them. He is certified as a clinical psychologist under supervision by the Psychologists’ College of Romania and as a trainer by the National Authority for Qualifications. As a member of the International Coaching Institute he has been involved in several projects related to professional skills training for psychologists and managerial coaching abilities for middle level managers.
