Biography
As Head of Immunology Development, Newman Yeilding, M.D. provides scientific and management leadership of development initiatives and investments globally, directing and overseeing all programs supporting new molecular entities within the rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and psoriasis disease area portfolios, and life cycle indications for the industry-leading Janssen. Newman joined the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson through Centocor in 2002, and was instrumental in the development and approval of one of the company’s leading biologics, which he has continued to oversee through new indications in dermatology and gastroenterology.
