David F. Snively

Biography

Dave graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree from Ball State University.

Research Interest

Dave first joined Monsanto’s legal department more than thirty years ago and was appointed general counsel in 2006. Over the course of his career, he has been responsible for the company’s legal strategies for patent, environmental, antitrust, regulatory and intellectual property issues.  Dave was instrumental in the development of the company’s intellectual property strategy to protect Monsanto’s innovative biotechnology products and significant investments in research and development.
