Biography
Allen R. Thorpe is a managing director of Hellman & Friedman and leads the firm’s New York office. His primary areas of focus are health care and financial services. He is a director of MultiPlan, Edelman Financial, and is a member of the advisory board of Grosvenor Capital Management.
Research Interest
Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Thorpe was a vice president with Pacific Equity Partners in Australia and was a manager at Bain & Co. He also currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the NYU Langone Medical Center, the Advisory Council of the Stanford Center on Longevity and the Leadership Council of Robin Hood.
