Biography
Alexandru VASILE works in LABORATORY OF TESTING AND RELIABILITY. Important Achievements are Approval and commissioning of the Radioactive Material Transport Packaging Testing Stand in 2009 - carried out under CEEX Excellence Contract 7175/2006; Tests and checks for the reception and commissioning of the modernized installations within the STDR (Radioactive Waste Treatment Plant) in 2011; Evaluating regulatory requirements for radioactive materials transport packaging and implementing efficient transport safety management; Identification of the possibilities for transfer, handling, transport and management of spent ionic resins, generated by Cernavoda NPP, medium and long term; Participate in the development of lead technologies used in LFR reactors by evaluating polonium separation methods resulting in reactor operation. Certifications include CNCAN notification LI 02/2012 - for the whole field of testing.
