Biography

Constantin IORGA work as a researcher under department TESTING OUTSIDE THE REACTOR. Important achievements includes EMR-15 Multifunctional Radiation Monitoring Software Software (dose rate measurement, integrated dose, gamma radiation emitting sources, radioisotope dosing in medical field); Experimental technological installation for restoration of thermal insulation damaged by accelerated aging at the SLCD moderator coil assemblies in planned plant shutdown conditions; Technological facilities for the non-destructive evaluation of aging of electrical cables; Experimental installation necessary for the elaboration of the isolation techniques with the ice plug of the horizontal pipelines crossed by the working agent; Technological facilities needed to study (model) the degradation mechanism of the pressure tube coupling - spacer bracelet - Calandria tube; Technological facilities necessary for the development of techniques for the profile geometry control of the internal surface of the generator pipe in the mandrinated area; Experimental installation for corrosion / lead erosion testing of structural materials for Fourth Generation (LFR) nuclear power reactors (in-plant equipment); Software development for computer simulation of the simulator - SMC experimental model; Automatic detection of common and non-common frequencies for variable time signals.
