Bill Taaffe

Biography

  Bill brings over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry to the RPG senior management team. He was one of the founding members of ICON, where he held the position of President and CEO, North America. After spending 18 years with ICON, Bill retired from clinical research in June 2011. Prior to ICON, Bill worked briefly with Circa Pharmaceuticals and Bioresearch, a preclinical research organization, and nearly two decades with a global CRO, The Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, where he served as CEO, USA. Since leaving ICON, Bill has served on a number of Boards of Life Science companies and helped merge two small to mid-size CROs, Medelis and WCCT Global. He holds a B.S. from the University College Dublin, Ireland.
