Biography
Anthony Lewis (aka Tony) Brooks PhD was born in Wales, UK. His doctoral dissertation reported the evolution of his body of research titled SoundScapes that resulted in a family of international patents, product, and a spin out company. SoundScapes was the catalyst of national and European funded projects. The Danish project (1997-2002) investigated potentials of SoundScapes’ gesture-control of video games and creative expression as an alternative therapeutic intervention to supplement traditional approaches for treating acquired brain injury patients (stroke).
Research Interest
His Research interest includes the Elderly and Persons with Disability”. Upon cessation of these projects , in 2002, he was headhunted to be a leading member of the team that originated the Medialogy of the engineering department
