Biography
Oleg Smolin has served in the Duma since 1995 and is presently Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science. Before his tenure in the State Duma, Mr. Smolin was a deputy of the Federation Council from 1993 to 1995 and Peoples Deputy from 1990 to 1993.

His Research interest include the pedagogical activity at the Omsk Pedagogical Institute of the business and the management sciences
