Biography
Dr. Maria Alexandrescu, coordinator of the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at Monza Hospital, has skills in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, general ultrasonography, neuroradiology, CardioCT level II and CardioRM level II. He graduated from the General Medicine Faculty of "Vasile GoldiÅŸ" University of Arad, obtaining the title of "Doctor Medic" at the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. After residing in Radiology and Medical Imaging followed at the Fundeni Clinical Institute in Bucharest (2000-2006), he obtained the title of specialist physician, followed by qualifications and attestations for general ultrasonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, neuroradiology, etc. Prior to joining the Monza Hospital team, he was Head of the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging of Muntenia Memorial Hospital Pitesti (2011-2012), General Manager and specialist physician at the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging of the Focus Medical Center (2009- 2011); a specialist in the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging in the Emergency Military Hospital "Agrippa Ionescu" and at the Evolutionmed Clinic. He is a member of the Romanian Radiology Society, the European Radiology Society, the European Neuroradiology Society and the American Cardiac Society.
