Biography
Rik Stuurman (1981) graduated in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Groningen University (2006). After obtaining his pharmacist degree, he worked for two years as pharmacist trainee for Organon and Schering-Plough. He subsequently started his PhD project “Clinical pharmacology of novel anticancer drug formulations” at the division of Clinical Pharmacology of the Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. During this period he designed and organized several clinical phase I trials and in 2013 he obtained his PhD. In 2014 he worked as project manager for PRA and later that year he registered as a clinical pharmacologist and started as a project leader at CHDR. From 2016 onward he holds a position as senior clinical scientist in the field of immunology and cardiovascular research
