Biography
Dan Berindei ( November 3, 1923 , Bucharest ) is a Romanian historian . He is a graduate of History and Philosophy of the University of Bucharest ( 1945 ), Doctor of History ( 1969 ). Member of the Romanian Academy (since 1992 ). [1] Since 1996 he is the president of the Romanian Academy of History and Archeology. Since 2006 he is vice president of the Romanian Academy.
