Biography
Ruth Osborne graduated from the University of Leicester in 2002 with an honours degree in Zoology. Since then she has also completed the UK veterinary nursing course and is a fully qualified and listed RVN. Her specific interest is in companion animal behaviour and welfare and has since led to her complete a post graduate diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton. This is a masters degree level qualification for which she was awarded a distinction in 2009. Ruth has worked in small animal practice since 2003 and is currently based in the UK in the city of Birmingham; here she takes an active role in both client and staff education and runs her own pet behaviour counselling clinics. She has written several articles on pet healthcare and is also responsible for the UK branch of Romania Animal Rescue.
