Andrey V. Degtyarev

Biography

In July 2013 Andrey Degtyarev was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Absolut Bank. Before he joined Absolut Bank, he was General Director of KIT Finance Investment Bank (OJSC). Between 1998 and 2001, Andrey Degtyarev worked at Alfa-Bank JSC in various positions. From 2001 to 2003, he continued his career at ConverseBank CJSC (renamed Moskovsky Delovoy Mir). At Alfa-Bank JSC and MDM Bank JSC Andrey Degtyarev was responsible for attracting large corporate customers, services organization and supervising the large corporate customers’ business center. Andrey Degtyarev moved to Uralsib Financial Corporation in 2003 as Executive Director and head of sales to large corporate customers. Between June 2005 and October 2006 he was Executive Director managing the North-Western Regional Directorate of Uralsib Financial Company. From October 2006 to January 2008, he was in charge of the WEST Division’s regional business. From May 2008 to April 2010, he was Executive Director of the Private Banking Business Directorate. From April 2009 to September 2010 he held the position of the Executive Director for direct investments at Uralsib Financial Corporation. In December 2010, Andrey Degtyarev was appointed General Director of KIT Finance Investment Bank (OJSC). Andrey Degtyarev is a graduate of Plekhanov Economics Academy in Finance and Credit.
