Biography
Senior Vice President In 2008, Alexander Popov was elected chairman of the Board of Directors and was named senior vice president in 2007. Since 2004, he has been a head of the non-profit National Institute for Corporate Reform Foundation. Mr Popov joined the Company in 1996. He worked as head of the internal audit division under the Board of Directors, head of the audit and legal department, vice president for corporate construction and financial control. Mr Popov was born in 1969. He graduated in 1993 with a degree in in finance and credit from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Mr Popov holds the title of Honoured Chemist of the Russian Federation. He was awarded the Medal of the Order for Merit to Fatherland, second degree.
