Jennifer Zhou

Biography

 Dr. Zhou serves as a Cytopathologist and Surgical Pathologist at Acupath Laboratories, Inc. and is board certified in Cytopathology, as well as Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.  She specializes in the cytological diagnosis of various specimens including fine needle aspirates from salivary glands, lung, pancreas, liver, lymph nodes, thyroids, breasts, and a variety of body cysts, as well as urine, gastrointestinal or pulmonary brushings and washings. Dr. Zhou is fellowship trained in Cytopathology and subspecialized in Gastrointestinal, Urological, and General Surgical Pathology. Dr. Zhou completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and her fellowship in Cytopathology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her medical degree from Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China. Dr. Zhou has contributed to many publications and abstracts in subjects including endometrial carcinoma, glycogen-rich clear cell carcinoma of the breast, pancreatic mucinous cystic neoplasms, and eosinophilic gastroenteritis. She also serves as a peer reviewer for the prestigious cytology journal, Diagnostic Cytopathology. Dr. Zhou is a member of the College of American Pathologists and American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She is licensed by the Medical Boards of New York and several other states.
