Olga Falkowski

Biography

 Dr. Falkowski serves as the Medical Director and Director of Molecular Genetics at Acupath Laboratories, Inc. where she is responsible for the supervision and sign out of histological, cytopathological, FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) and molecular cases. She is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Prior to joining Acupath, Dr. Falkowski was an Attending Pathologist at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and at Tisch Hospital, New York University of Medicine.  Dr. Falkowski completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, University Hospital of Columbia University, and a residency in General Pathology at the First Moscow Medical School in Russia.  Subsequently, she fulfilled a Surgical fellowship at Tisch Hospital, at New York University School of Medicine, followed by a Gastrointestinal observership at Harvard Medical School.  She completed an observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Genitourinary Pathology.  Dr. Falkowski received her medical degree from the First Moscow Medical School in Russia. As part of her pathology work, Dr. Falkowski has served as an Assistant Professor at New York University School of Medicine, Hofstra University, as well as Albert Einstein College of Medicine, respectively. She is currently a member of the College of American Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Dr. Falkowski is a noted author and lecturer.
