Karapetyan Navassard Vaganovich,Professor, Dr. Sci. (Biology),is the head of the Laboratory of LABORATORY BIOCHEMISTRY OF CHLOROPLAST in the AN Bach Institute of Biochemistry who is also a Winner of the USSR State Prize on Science and Technology (1991).
Research Interest
Molecular Biology of Chloroplasts: Mechanisms of regulation of gene expression of plastid proteins; processes responsible for coordinated expression of nuclear and chloroplast genes that code of plastid proteins; study of the role of chloroplasts in expression of nuclear genes that code plastid proteins; structure-function study of genome of chloroplast and other plastids.
